RCA Chanalyst 162 assembled test probe set
This set was developed at the request of some of my customers and is the result of significant research and preparation
The set includes 4 Test Probes, 1 Audio Cable and 1 Replacement Ground Lead - 6 Leads in all
All leads are 42" but can be customized - as this set is built to order
for example some versions have the Audio Jacks on the front and a 42" lead is too long, Some may prefer a longer ground lead, etc...
Supplied in this set is:
1 RF-IF Channel Probe (1pf i.e 1MMF Axial Capacitor installed)
1 Oscillator Channel Probe (
1pf i.e 1MMF Axial Capacitor installed)
1 Voltmeter/VTVM Probe (1 Meg Resistor installed)
1 AF Probe (Direct Probe)
1 1/4" Mono to 1/4" Mono Audio Cable
1 Alligator Test Lead with a bare end (to be soldered to your unit)
All cables are 42" RG174 Coax, this is a thin & durable 50ohm coax that works great for this application (more than 1000 kits and sets of test leads made using this cable) and the Ground Lead is 48" High Quality 18 Gauge Test Lead Wire (Powerwerx Brand - 5000v)

Genuine Philmore 912/913J Test Probes/Prods
(the continual decline in quality from the Chinese test probes has become problematic and I have ceased purchases of these probes - up until the past 4 months the quality of the Chinese probes has been acceptable, but I have returned the last shipments due to inferior quality and workmanship - warped bodies, improper plating, surface blemishes, inconsistent color and unsharpened tips, etc...- the higher cost of the Philmore Probes is well worth it, and I will never go back to using the chinese probes)
