    Description

Calibrated Magnetic Field Probe and Sensor model MC95e
for EMC EMI and Electromagnetic field measurement at ELF frequencies.
    Frequency Range: 25 Hz – 3 kHz
These passive sensors provide an output AC voltage accurately calibrated to the AC magnetic field strength. They require a display instrument (not included) such as AC voltmeter, oscilloscope or spectrum analyzer to display the output AC voltage. The frequency of the AC output voltage is the same as the frequency of the magnetic field. Each sensor below undergoes a NIST traceable calibration for accuracy. These sensors offer a convenient, low-cost field measurement, test and troubleshooting tool.
This Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) and Voice Frequency (VF) single-axis magnetic field sensor provides a flat frequency response over a wide frequency range, resulting in superior accuracy for measuring fields from electrical and electronic equipment, building wiring, electric machinery, computer monitors, office equipment, fluorescent lights, TVs, appliances, dimmer switches, power lines and harmonics, pumps, ceiling tracks, aircraft (400 Hz), ships, subways, electric cars and rail. Display instrument resolution of 0.1 mV AC or better is recommended for most applications.  This sensor does NOT measure static (DC) magnetic fields: like from stationary magnets, steel parts or other magnetic materials, nor earth's magnetic field.
These sensors are single-axis, so they respond to magnetic fields parallel to the sensor axis. No battery or power supply is needed for the sensors. The sensors have no minimum measurable field strength, so the resolution will depend on your display instrument. Maximum field: the sensor can be damaged above 50 Volts output. Sensor includes operating instructions. The sensor orientation shows the magnetic field polarization.
·Flat response over a wide frequency range provides an easy, accurate, and low-cost field measurement and troubleshooting tool: 25 Hz to 3 kHz is the 3 dB bandwidth 5 Hz to 20 kHz is the 15 dB bandwidth.
·Each sensor undergoes a NIST traceable calibration to ensure accuracy: +/- 3% typical calibration tolerance (+/- 5% worst case) from 50 Hz to 1000 Hz Calibrated to ANSI Standard 644-1987. Certificate included. Accurately measures through eleventh harmonic with ANSI Standard 644-1987.
    Size: 2.06” x 1.58” x 1.16” (52mm x 40mm x 29mm)
    1 year factory warranty.
